Eighty Attend Ladies Auxiliary District Meeting
Eighty members attended the annual district meeting of the ladies auxiliary of the B E S L in the D M L C C building last Thursday. In Dauphin, building permits rose for the first four months of 1951 by 6134 dollars from 1950. There were 16 permits totaling 47705 this year, compared with 11 permits at 41571 last year. Rag drive nets 8400 pounds for Dauphin hospital
About 8400 pounds of rags were collected in Dauphin last Thursday in a drive by the three local LO.D.E. chapters to raise funds for the Dauphin hospital. Rags were shipped to Winnipeg by Clark Freighters and will net roughly $350 to LO.D.E. after expenses. Proceeds fund hospital support with the balance after costs.

Lighting Expenditure Set For Dauphin Airport
A $30,000 project to illuminate Dauphin airport runways and obstructions is approved for this year by Manitoba transport officials.
