Ottawa reports no national park in Manitoba. Instead the Riding Mountains will be a recreational area of about 10064 acres centered at Clear Lake with a superintendent and development funds. Road building, a golf course, and all weather access will link Norgate, Erickson, and Dauphin.

A sound of revelry filled the town hall on Friday as 21 couples attended the second annual Little Business College dance. Rita Buckwold led the student committee in decorating in college colors, with music by the Dauphinolians and a late midnight lunch served by students led by Viola Smith.
