Shorthorn Sale at Clark's barn raises stock prestige
The Dauphin Shorthorn Club held its second annual sale at Clark's barn on 24th with 39 animals offered. Dan Hamilton sold the first and last animals with smooth handling. buyers included John Spillett Dauphin and L Blair Fort River among many. Banquet followed with speeches urging better stock to offset grain price drops. Average price was 166 dollars per head.
