Mrs Audrey Dowler presented a vocal recital March 23 at Mackenzie forum with accompanist Mrs J O Winters and introducer Mrs C I Dehigren. Dowler sang sacred works by Mendelssohn Handel and Gounod, Italian numbers by Puccini and Donizetti, lighter songs by Grieg and Schubert, and selections from The Chocolate Soldier. Encores drew applause and a bouquet. intermissions featured student quartets with piano accompaniment.

Continuation notes SSGT Dobson and wife Hazel Derick wed in 1941 and have two children. At a February 23 Dauphin Ladies RCMP auxiliary gathering Mrs Dobson received a presentation. Four Generations Family Gathered for Photo Portrait
The four generation Ignash Shymanski Creed family gathered together in Sifton and Fargo for a joint picture. Great grandmother Annie Ignash, 59, and grandmother Olga Shymanski, 41, reside in Sifton while mother Shirley Creed, 21, lives in Fargo with her two year old daughter Debra seated on the grandmother's lap. The total of their ages sums to 123 years.

The Dauphin Liberal Women held a March meeting at the Boulevard hotel to award two $25 scholarships to Dauphin students. One honors the top Grade 11 history student, the other the top Grade 11 mathematics student. Plans include inviting Janet Blair of Ottawa and A. G. Dauphin Little Theatre members Mrs. B Goodhand Mrs. B Shewfelt Dorothy O Donnell and Mrs Yates attended a Manitoba Theatre Centre workshop and four day Dominion Rama festival in Winnipeg. PCAF Station Winnipeg Drama Club and Winnipeg Dramatists Club won one each.
