The G W V A association in the Lille block opened its new club rooms on Tuesday the 18th with Mayor Bowman presiding. He praised officers and the auxiliary for their effort to aid veterans of the recent war. A short program featured Miss Maggie Stark and Major Skintner, followed by dancing and games with prizes won by Mrs. Nash and Comrade Jack May. The event drew a large crowd and was hailed as one of Dauphin’s best gatherings.
