Five defendants from Gilbert Plains Ashville and Waskada were convicted in a provincial police court for liquor and still seizures. Each faced 200 dollars and costs and one month in jail or six additional months for nonpayment. Wasy Baran and Mr. Baran were found obstructing officers but released on suspended sentences. Prosecutions led by E N McGirr with J N McFadden defending. twenty more charges pending.

Funeral of Henry H Olson Held in Dauphin
Henry H Olson who died March 2 from a skull fracture after an ice fall at Valley River was buried in Riverside after a funeral in Dauphin on Thursday, officiated by Rev. A W Lochead. Pallbearers included A J Boughen and Geo Hassard. Born October 18 1892 in Goderich Ontario, he moved to Manitoba in 1912, served in the Great War, and was wounded in the thigh. He married Laura Fletcher, who died nine years ago, then Violet Mayberry, who survives with four children. He is survived by his mother Mrs M A Olson of Woodstock Ontario and two sisters in British Columbia and Manitoba.
