The Dauphin annual short course and stock judging contest concluded with a banquet at Town Hall. About 59 attendees, mostly youngsters, enjoyed a meal catered by the Ladies Hospital Aid and music by the Paramount orchestra. Fight Between Town Employees Ends in Police Court
In Dauphin, fore man Mike Holowick of the waterworks was fined 10 dollars and costs or one month in jail for assaulting temporary town worker William Senchuk after a February 26 dispute over sleigh gear. Magistrate Hawkins noted a swelled head as he imposed the sentence. Alex Katz and A T Warnock represented the two men.

Geo Oar's House Burned in Lovering Park Fire
The small residence of Geo Oar in Lovering Park was destroyed by fire on Monday afternoon. Mrs. Oar and her baby were visiting neighbors. The blaze likely started from an overheated pipe.
