The Dauphin Orchestra under Victor Feldbrill presents two concerts at the collegiate auditorium, March 30 at 8:30 p.m. and the following morning for students. CBC radio will broadcast delays of Winnipeg subscription concerts. Program features Rossini Cinderella Overture, Royal Fireworks Suite, Handel Comedians by Kabalevsky.

Prairies First To Honor Rampton Cana Guernsey Breeders President
Art Rampton of Dauphin owner of Gartmore Guernsey Farms and Gartmore Dairy was elected president of the Canadian Guernsey Breeders Association. He is the first Prairie breeder to hold the post and serves on national dairy advisory bodies. Rampton expanded his herd in 1964, built a modern plant and cash and carry store processing his milk and that of other local Guernsey producers.

1966 Business Tax Levy Sets Record for Dauphin
Dauphin town office issued notices for 1966 business tax and local improvement levies due April 5. With 250 plus business places on the assessment roll, the business tax levy totals 427,500 with a 10 percent assessment rate, while local improvement levies reach a record 110,060.26, funding paving sewers curbs sidewalks and lane paving. By-law Changes William by waste receptacles rules
The committee reviews amendments to a garbage container by law. Changes propose moveable receptacles for dwellings and businesses made of metal plastic or glass 24 to 30 inches high not exceeding 20 inches. Receptacles to be on a raised platform about 12 inches high and contents wrapped before collection within one week. A two week period exists in the current by law. Expanded Program For Handicapped Outlined By Minister Of Education

Junior Rifle Event Of Manitoba Slated For Dauphin In May
The city of Dauphin is asked to host the 12th annual Provincial Junior Rifle Championships for the second year running. Last year major events were held at the DMCC on September 25 with Howard Porter as championship coordinator. Airfield Crop Tenders Deferred To Council
The deadline of Thursday March 3 at 4 pm saw five tenders in the hands of town secretary treasurer E C Day for renting the usable area of the Dauphin municipal airfield for cultivated schemes. The tenders were to be reviewed by the public works committee but the meeting was canceled due to lack of a quorum. Only Councillors Alf Buckwold and Ad Balean were present. McMillan, Tychols and Matthews were absent.
