Summer fair opens with junior clubs rally amid displays
About 400 boys and girls from 34 junior clubs gather at the Dauphin Agricultural Society summer fair opening on July 24. The event, organized by the Manitoba extension service with Tl Eaton and the society, runs from 9 a.m. to evening with parades, judging in two groups A and B, tractor tests, clothing and food demos, and a prize presentation by F. The Elks lodge and Canadian Legion branch host a two day agricultural fair at Winnipegosis Beach next Tuesday and Wednesday with livestock judging cash prizes junior baseball and softball events horse racing and a big second day baseball tournament.
