Centralization Planning Committee Elects Officers
The Planning Committee for centralization met Monday July 15 and elected A. T. Warnock as chairman and H P Pollan as AAAA. Members from mar iny organizations and town and rural councils discuss a plan to centralize activities at the former ball park, First Avenue SE, Bennett site, ball diamonds, rinks, grandstands, and fair grounds. Town Hall Aug 2 Display Of Brandon Tech Students
Town hall was approved for an Aug 2 display of handicraft work by Brandon technical school students. Traffic signs and no parking signs will be erected at town outskirts and near theatres. A letter of thanks was received from town employees who sang and were given a paid holiday on July 1.

Town to spend 22000 on Main Street surfacing
The town plans a 22000 hard surfacing project on Main Street from Fourth Avenue North to the southern end, funded mainly from a special reserve with 5000 provided by the province and 5000 from the reserve. New Cement Sidewalk Under Way From Co-op to Fourth Ave
