Board of Agriculture Formed in Dauphin Meeting

The second Dauphin rural municipality meeting at Municipal hall formed a Board of Agriculture. Key officers were elected including Hon. President Sec T Castle and Sec Treas HK McCaul. A labor committee chaired by Murray and Gorby was set, with school district secretaries coordinating. The group plans an ad in the Dauphin Herald and meets again July 27 at 8 p.m.

Diphtheria Epidemic Eases as Nation Sees Relief

Local report notes diphtheria under control after causing suffering among villagers. Names Alice Dubmyk praised for academics. funeral held at Greek church four miles east. Spruce Creek Educational Picnic Draws Crowd and Support

On July 17 the Spruce Creek school grounds hosted an educational picnic with speeches led by Dr. Fraser praising government efforts to raise a capable generation. A successful Red Cross booth run by local ladies aided finances, the Dauphin band performed, and children held a sale of work for patriotic causes. Carruthers and Coles attend Brandon fair this week.

Mr and Mrs Jack McLaughlin return to their Radville Saskatchewan home after a visit with Mrs McLaughlin. Soldiers' Aid Society to host dance at Scott's Lake Dauphin
