Accident kills Minnedosa man at Manitoba Power site
Harold Paisley Taylor 26 of Minnedosa died last Wednesday evening on the Manitoba Power Commission site near Front and Gladys streets. A linesman climbed about 60 feet to measure the steam plant stack when a linen tape touched a 33 000 volt feeder, causing a fatal electric shock before he fell. Born July 29 1926 in Minnedosa he served seven years with the power company. He is survived by his parents a sister and two brothers. Funeral held Saturday at Minnedosa United Church. Sneath Funeral Service handled arrangements.

Clear Lake Highway Crash Injures Two
A car owned by Miss Primrose May Bredl of Langley Prairie B C overturned on the Clear Lake highway at noon Friday July 18 injuring two occupants. Mr. and Mrs Bredl were admitted to Dauphin General Hospital with injuries not serious. The car struck loose grave on a soft shoulder and went into a ditch. The Breds are parents of Mrs G H Lepper of Dauphin.
