Parking Rights Granted to Doctors and Taxis in Dauphin
Dauphin town council allocated exclusive parking spaces for doctors of the Dauphin medical staff and for taxis. Spaces include two cars at the bus depot, one at Clark's taxi, one at Paul’s scale, and three at the Burrows block on Main Street. Parking runs 9 am to 5 pm. Decoration day services marked the close of Dauphin's jubilee week celebrating the village incorporation on July 11, 1898. Archdeacon Bridgett led at the Cenotaph with Rev. J. I. McKinney and Capt. Gillingham. wreaths honored fallen soldiers. Memorial drive at Riverside and a drumhead service at Mackenzie high school followed with tributes to founders and growth of Dauphin through Christian values. The Brandon legion band and a multi-branch color party attended the day’s events.

Butcher Injures Hand As Beef Falls At Clear Lake
