Trial of Alex Neault in Dauphin on parcel theft
Alex Neault faced Mr Justice D A MacDonald in the King's Bench Court at Dauphin on Wednesday for theft of parcels sent by parcel post at Swan River in early 1926. He was found guilty and sentenced to three years in the penitentiary. Prosecutor C B A Rogers led the case. F E Simpson defended the accused.

Manitoba Bree Press cup race ultra highlight Dauphin triumph
The Manitoba Championship Bree Press cup race on July 3 saw Winnipeg send 53 pigeons from Medicine Hat 600 miles and Dauphin 14 to Calgary 606 miles. W McClernon won the cup for Dauphin with a first bird at 5.50 am Sunday and Dauphin took the first five places as Winnipeg waited until day three. Dauphin Pigeon Club thanks ringing and timing helpers W McCormack G Hume and F Douglas.
