Willie Walmsley aged child of Winnipegosis drowned during play on river barges. He slipped between barges and vanished as adults mistook cries for ordinary noise. A younger brother swam but failed to save him. a third child rescued the brother. The body was recovered about an hour later and resuscitation attempts failed.
