Mrs. Annie Dzendzura of Sifton had her receiving stolen goods charge dismissed for lack of evidence. John Katebur of Sifton was remanded for trial on house breaking and theft. Jobo Boychuk and Mike Moroz, both of Sifton, elected summary trial and were convicted, remanded for sentence, then released on suspended sentence on Wednesday.

Pioneer settler Mrs John Thomas dies in Dauphin area
Mrs John Thomas died at her son-in-law Harry T Armstrong’s home in Mountview on the Ist. She came to Dauphin from Parry Sound Ontario in May 1898, helped develop local farmland, and was predeceased by her husband three years earlier. Survived by three sons David Dauphin William Saskatoon Edward Gilbert Plains and four daughters Mrs R Young Alberta Mrs John Brandon Kenton Mab Mrs Fred Davis Gilbert Plains and Mrs Thos Brandon Appleby BC. Funeral Tuesday from St Pauls Church to Riverside Cemetery with Rev H P Barrett officiating.
