Boy Scouts Near Dauphin Get Donated Station Building
The Boy Scouts of Dauphin may soon have a new home as Canadian National Railways offers the old Dauphin station building on 1st Street South West to the scouts. Local railway superintendent J. P. Johnson proposed the donation and renovations are being considered to make the building suitable. The move reflects strong community support for the scouts in the Dauphin district.

St James Church Marks 26th Anniversary Celebration
Next Sunday January 24 marks the 26th anniversary of St James church opening. A Saturday At Home from 3 to 6 p.m. in the basement will welcome all members. Children’s Aid Society Holds Annual Meeting in Dauphin
The Children’s Aid Society postponed annual meeting met Monday with President T. T. Malcolm in the chair. Secretary F. T. Wright reported year activities and shelter transfer to new premises. Mrs. Gray detailed receipts and expenditures totaling 205.82 including government and town funding. Wards’ placements included 25 adoptions, 2 contracts, 2 self-employed, 28 in care. ward bank accounts totaled 77. Officers elected for 1926: President T. T. Malcolm Vice President W. The Western Canada Orpington Club Meet will be held in Dauphin on February 12 bringing breeders from the three prairie provinces and Western Ontario. The event will add many cups and prizes to the Orpington breed and increase exhibits, making the 1926 poultry show the largest yet.
