Missing Plane Turns Up At Winnipegosis
Special to the Dauphin Herald says the plane piloted by Bill May carrying Fay Baker, the fan dancer, found after engine trouble forced a stop near Grenon's Harbor. The craft refueled at Ottawa Bay? No. the relief plane scouted Lake Winnipegosis and both aircraft then headed to Winnipegosis.

Pulp River Man Dies From Fall at New House Site
Gingara 72 of Pulp River died Tuesday after falling into an open cellar under a partly finished house being built by his family near the old homestead. Coroner G W Rogers and Constable Holland investigated after a 16 hour snowbound trip. inquest deemed unnecessary.

Youthful Offenders Receive Birch Sentence At Juvenile Court
Seven juveniles were given three to ten strokes of the birch by Magistrate Thos. Little after being found guilty of stealing a large quantity of goods from local merchants. The loot was hidden in a shack near town, leading to arrests and recoveries across the area. Authorities hope the corporal punishment will curb a recent surge of petty theft.
