Blind Sergeant Plays Billiards in England for Hospital Fund
Sergeant Sam Shaw, once an orderly in a hospital, stunned observers by playing a blindfolded billiards match at the National Maritime Club in Regent's Park. He scored 62 points in 1 hour 40 minutes against a sighted opponent, with no more than a few ball contacts, claiming he senses balls by touch and coldness. Proceeds totaled $140 for hospital funds.

Girls Sport and Activities Update in January Issue
The January edition aims for wide distribution to reach more students and ex-students. The Girls' Athletic Association met Tuesday to select captains for hockey and plan winter games. Grade XI XII captain Miss Wilm ar t. Grade X captain Miss Ruby Johnston. Grade IX captain Miss Florence Osborne. A permanent team drawn from all four grades will form soon. new Grade IX students N Mandauick and D Demezuk noted. The Literary Society plans a benefit night at a local theatre to fund the Collegiate Honor Roll. New physical drill wands purchased for the girls. Dauphin Curling Club Opens Bis September Event Evenings
