Agricultural Short Course in Dauphin Attracts Wide Attendance
The January 7 to 17 Agricultural Short Course in Dauphin drew around fifty attendees across ages from 16 to about 80. Lectures on gas engines, engine operation, and maintenance were highlighted by practical demonstrations at Feldman’s garage. Teachers Stouth and Churchill led sessions with hands on engine trouble shooting and engine construction details. Experts including F H Newcombe and Dr F W Bryant contributed talks on breeding cattle sheep and swine and detecting horse unsoundness.
