Offenders In Temp Act Jail Xmas Celebration
Four men from Camperville and Grandview appeared before Magistrate Hawkins on December 26 for possessing home brew in violation of the Manitoba Temperance Act. Nick Tanasichuk Jos Mongeon John Ledoux and W Campbell were fined 200 with costs or three months in gaol. The province reports twelve similar cases in December.

Gerald Bigham awakened by crackling sounded the alarm as firemen found the back kitchen and part of the main house in flames on Monday around 2:30 AM. The blaze was subdued after water application. A second call Monday afternoon addressed a chimney fire on 10th Ave Southwest.
