Durston Repeats as Dauphin Ochre Area Board Chair
Cecil R. Durston was elected chair of the Dauphin Ochre Area school board at the recent statutory meeting succeeding W. T. Volk ers who led the board for three years. Durston will mark his 12th year as chairman and has served as trustee since the area system began in 1947. Raymond J. Allard was elected vice chairman for the coming year, with standing committees named for 1963 including Finance, Management, Building and Grounds, Transportation, Equipment, Salary and Liaison, Festival and Auditorium, Health and Welfare, and Fuel with respective trustees listed.
