Mrs Annie Leskiw aged sixty nine died at Dauphin December 24 after a lingering illness. Born in Hieszerwa Galicia Ukraine she married on February 1 1885 and moved to Canada in 187. The Leskiw family settled at Keld district Dauphin as early pioneers. She leaves husband eight children and twenty two grandchildren and one great grandchild. Funeral in the Ukrainian Greek Catholic church Dauphin at 11 am Friday December 27 with burial in Riverside Cemetery.

She married T E Wells in 1890 and they moved to Dauphin in 1898. Survived by husband and three sons Lloyd Chicago Edgar and Roy Dauphin, one brother W D McVey Harrow Ontario and two sisters Mrs Ella MelIlroy Windsor Ontario and Mrs Sarah Thornton Detroit. Funeral and burial planned after services at Pentecostal church.
