Rural Council Finishes Year’s Business in Dauphin
A special Rural Municipality of Dauphin meeting on December 7 approved graveling two two mile sections east of townships 25 19 and 23 20 and two miles east of 30 and 31. Councillors Magalas Spencer Buchanan Basaraba Sawczyn attended with Reeve Wickes presiding. Tax refunds were granted to ratepayers who performed statute labor. The council adjourned.

Quiet Christmas Day Wedding At St James Anglican Winnipeg
Frederick James Wilson formerly of Middles borough England married Mary Agnes Casebourne youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs A C Wade Dauphin at St James Anglican Church Winnipeg on Christmas day. Rev W G Findlay officiated. The bride wore powder blue silk crepe romaine with silver lace and carried pink and yellow chrysanthemums. The bridesmaid wore marose crepe de chine and carried yellow chrysanthemums. A reception followed at the Montgomery home Winnipeg with relatives and friends. The couple honeymooned in Winnipeg then returned to Dauphin Saturday morning.

Accidental Self Inflicted Rifle Shootings Fatal in Manitoba
Pierre Perrault, 64, of Ste Amelie Manitoba, died at 12 65 am December 24 from wounds after an accidental .22 rifle discharge. He was inspecting his rifle when it discharged through his abdomen entering his spine. he walked home before dying. No inquest was held. examination showed a defective safety catch.
