Home Destroyed by Fire Near Exhibition Grounds
The early morning blaze at John Eliler’s house near the exhibition grounds destroyed the home and its contents. Inmates were en route to the railway station when the fire started, origin unknown as no fire had been used hours earlier. Town Council Sets 21 Mills School Levy and By Law Adjustments

The speed trials showed excellent times across three moves with strong turnout from fire brigades and railway officials.
