Clear Lake Golf Course Scoring Thrills For Two Dauphinites
Two local golfers Helen Bowman and Helen Marsh impressed at Clear Lake Golf Course with near course records for women. Marsh scored a hole in one on No 3 using a No 5 iron from 119 yards, Bowman carded 86 with a 40 on the front and a 46 on the back, including a Hole in One from 50 yards on the 18th. The 15 year history shows a course par of 78 remains unattained by women. record is 83 shared by Mrs. B. P. Pelienz and Heather Leslie of Winnipeg.
