Road South To National Park Will Be Built
Construction of a highway from Dauphin to the Hiding Mountain National Park boundary will proceed with 50 percent provincial funding contingent on federal matching support. The eight mile link, costing about 30000 dollars, will shorten the Dauphin to Clear Lake route by about 25 miles and tie into a 27 mile park road, with local labor to be arranged through the Dauphin employment office. The project aligns with Manitoba works pending provincial premier Bennett at Ottawa.
