The play Dust of the Earth has opened in Gilbert Plains and Roblin with a capable company. It reveals its tale through strong characters and appeals to audience morals. A post show dance with McMurray orchestra follows, and proceeds go to Soldiers' Aid for the front line boys.

Mysterious Disappearance of Joseph P Grenier in Laurier

Fair Notes Highlight Fair Attractions and Winners

A large number from Gilbert Plains plan to attend Fridays fair. The Grain Growers Co will showcase lighting plants for the farm. Armstrong Trading Co features Holstein cattle in the livestock exhibit. Albert Hamilton of Ochre River, a noted exhibitor at the Dauphin fair, won multiple prizes at Ste. Rose fair Tuesday including first in driving team and first in single driver. Arch McDonald of Ochre won third in single driver and second in the horse race.
