Winnipegosis Man Found Dead in Shack
Geo Smigerouski, 66, long resident of Reed Peace Farm 12 miles west of Winnipegosis since 1914, was found dead on Saturday at 11 am. He had complained of illness two days earlier while visiting his daughter, and his body was discovered on the road to the pasture. Coroner Dr Medd and Constable Bayfield ruled death natural with no inquest.

A district meeting of lodges in District No 12 was held at the Oddfellows Hall in Dauphin with visitors from Gilbert Plains and Grand View. Grand Master Fuller of Transcona and Grand Patriarch Carlow of Neepawa attended. The evening included a school of instruction and welfare talks, followed by a presentation of Veterans jewels to D. D.
