Severe Fire Destroys Central Motors Garage
Fire gutted the Central Motors garage at 14 First Avenue 5S.W on Friday afternoon. Runoff Dams Roads North of Dauphin Causing Flooding
Acres of water from spring runoff cut a trench across Se Winnipegosis highway about one mile northeast of Dauphin. Water streamed across the highway in two places, up to four feet deep, forcing motorists to pass with help from tractors and a bulldozer crew. Maintenance work cleared ditches and laid planks to restore light traffic as water also flowed over No. 10 and No. 6 highways nearby.

Special Amateur Concert Broadcast From Town Hall
