A lively meeting of potato growers at Municipal hall on Tuesday April 2k led to forming a local Potato Growers Association. Supt Straight of the Morden Expeo station spoke on cultivation and warehouse treatment. A committee will study warehouse feasibility and costs. officers elected include President Fred Forsberg, Vice President L McKay, Secretary Treasurer Chas Murray.

Charity Ball Tops Social Season for Children’s Aid Society
The social committee of the Children's Aid Society held a charity ball in a bluebird themed room with pink roses and bluebirds. Over 200 guests enjoyed the McMurray orchestra and twilight waltz with encores, and a midnight buffet. The event raised funds for the Home.
