Wolf Cub Concert and Awards in War Veterans Halls
On Friday April a Wolf Cub concert with presentation of stars badges and medals drew about ninety Cubs and many parents to the War Veterans Halls. President Dacgchin of the Bay Scout Association chaired. The program featured charnes recitations by Clarence Phipps Irvine Goffman piano Jimmie Hamilton boxing Billie Rogers Frankie Pee, fencing Vern Watson and Marret Cox dancing Alfie Thompson Jimmie Fraser and others. Service stars were presented by Col McQuirk to 33 Cubs and athletic badges awarded to year 1979 recipients Bob Gardner Stan Blades John McFadden Bob Bryant Grant Tripp Gerald Clarke Angus Mulligan Herb Young William Busby Farquhar Cousins. Presentations included athletic medals to nine boys including Silver Medal Rover George May Bronze Medals Cab Dick Crimes Bob Bryant Grant Tripp Gerald Clarke Angus Malligan Herd Yours Stan Bladen Bill Busby. Ambulance offer to Dauphin General Hospital debated
At a special hospital board meeting the Canadian National Recreational Association proposed donating an ambulance for sick and injured transport within a ten mile radius. The hospital would operate and maintain it on hospital premises with a one dollar town limit for routine calls and one hour max, with rates to be set by the directors and potential revisions after a year.

At the annual meeting in Fiks hall on Tuesday evening in April 1930 the Dauphin Curlinnge Rink Co Ltd elected directors for 1930 31: J S Oliphant H E Fox A A Hoy H W Scrase H W Heaslip Jos Barrer S Darlington Wm Heard W McLachlin.
