Kidnapper Ray Robinson Nabbed Near Dauphin

Ray Robinson alias Anderson was arrested by a McCreary detachment officer near Borketon on Friday and held in Dauphin for extradition to the United States. He admitted involvement in the Haskell Bohn kidnapping for a $12 000 ransom and implicated Verne Sankey. detectives expect U S authorities to press charges as part of a cross border gang crackdown.

Dauphin Pioneers Annual Gathering

The 12th annual Dauphin Pioneers reunion was held at the G W V A hall on Tuesday, March 28. One hundred fifty-six early Dauphin residents shared a banquet, music, and readings, followed by an officer election with John A. Gorby as president and a silver collection of 34.57 dollars. A Pioneer orchestra provided dancing to close the evening.
