Narrow Escape After Car Train Collision In Kamsack
Three youths escaped serious injury after a car collision with a northbound box car on Gladys street in Kamsack. Passengers Jean Bloomfield and Ruth Stewart suffered cuts and a back injury but were cleared to continue their trip after a doctor’s check-up. The train crew from Winnipeg included Conductor Charles Walsh Engineer A Peebles Brakemen Douglas and Ponchar. The right side of the car was torn away and damage was estimated at $250.

Merchants of Dauphin plan a half holiday on Tuesday April 15 for the opening of No 10 Service Flying Training School south of the air station. Fire Damages Home. Valued Over $1000 in Sunday Blaze
A fire at the home of E. B. Kiske Sunday afternoon caused extensive damage, gutting the interior while furniture and clothing were saved with only slight water harm. The empty house had a 4 05 PM alarm, suspected chimney fault. Kiske lost and recovered $104 via three children who returned the wallet and were paid rewards.

Negotiations underway to extend the Manitoba Power Commission hydro lines from Minnedosa to No. 7 B.&GS via Neepawa and McCreary.
