News from Vienna reports the Grand Vizir taking residence in Belgrade and offering seven million Florins for the Citadel in its current state. General Schulenburg remains appointed as commander of the fortifications while demolition has not yet begun. Whale of 64 Foot Sighting in Sunderland Trade Notice
Newcastle Sept 22 a master found a 64 foot whale near Steaths on the Yorkshire coast. Its body described in detail from eye to tail with five foot fins and a 35 foot mouth. The whale sold for oil parts to Sunderland traders. ships and firings suffered losses and teas were seized. Races at Tewkesbury began with a Grey Mare Smiling Molly winning 20l purse. Chesnut Mare won 10l purse.
