The Paris Parliament presents a second remonstrance to the King defending the rights of spiritual and temporal authorities. They insist church consent does not make church decrees state law, call for careful examination of doctrinal decisions, and warn against royal usurpation. They praise unity, warn against schism, and pledge fidelity to the crown.
Port news from Dartmouth Plymouth Liverpool Bristol Pool Deal Gravesend and Gravesend on Sept 20 to 22 lists ships arriving from Cork Oporto Jamaica Bilboa Petersbourg Newfoundland and St Christopher's and a sloop unnamed. Trade winds and ships returning to the Downs noted as the Delawar and others likely to come back with the Thames up riverside.

East India Company Directors named Supercargoes for the Prince of Wales voyage to China. The body of Mr Hughes, noted Southwark tradesman, interred at St George's Church after a prosperous life. A fire at Mr Kirby’s Three-Tun Tavern nearly destroyed the building, gunpowder in a garret limited damage. A gin-selling woman was rescued by the mob in Southwark. Trade imports and exports from the Streights and various ports listed, including silk, indigo, linen, and wheat. High Water at London Bridge noted.

Proprietors of the Conie Lamp Office in Red Lion Street Holborn displace Christopher Parker lace Clerk and warn that no person may pay money to Parker on account of the lathe as he has no authority to receive funds.
