Bristol Sept 20 yesterday about one o clock William Roe a collier of Thomas Street believed connected with his son in law John Millard Cornelius York and George Matters three soldiers two of whom hang in chains was hanged for robbing Mr Thomas Smith a linen draper of divers pieces of linen he confessed all but denied involvement in receiving twenty stolen sheep or any other robberies he died in trepidation.
