Passports Refused for English Merchants Aboard in Lisbon
Yesterday two mail arrivals from France reported English merchants facing passport refusals while returning home. They appealed to the Czarith Majesty’s Ministers, who referred the matter to the Court of Admiralty. Uncertain if they may depart with their effects, the outcome remains unsettled.
