Engagement of Major Platichofick Against Barbary Galleys
Venice reports a naval engagement in the Ionian Sea where a galley commanded by Major Platichofick defeated two Barbary galleots, one with 176 men and the other with 70, after hours of combat, killing many Barbarians.
