French and Sicilian Envoys Celebrate Saint Louis Day in City

Robbery of Bristol Mail Targeted Rewards Offered in London

General-Post-Office London Sept 13 1738 announces a daytime robbery of the Bristol Bath bags from the Bristol mail. Three men on horses and one on foot attacked between Knightsbridge and Kensington at about three in the morning. A reward of two hundred pounds is offered for conviction and information, plus a pardon for accomplices who disclose identities.
