Pocker-Book Plunder Aimed at City Coffee Houses

A notice from September 3 1736 offers a half guinea reward for recovery of a pocket book taken from the Jerusalem and Pennsylvania Coffee Houses in Birchin Lane and the Jerusalem Coffee House. The book contained two ledgers and memoranda belonging to Daniel Seale. The thief is urged to return the item to the bar without questions.
