Victory at Wilmanstrand by Field Marshal Lacy Frontiers War
General Field Marshal Count Lacy reports a decisive assault against Wilmanstrand near the Swedish frontier. After reconnaissance and swift march with part of the corps, the enemy was defeated, the fortress captured, and substantial prisoners, banners, and cannon taken. The action lasted from two to seven, with about four thousand enemy casualties and heavy captures including General Wrangel and several colonels and officers.
