East India House, Nov 23 1737. The Court of Directors of the United Company of Merchants trading to the East Indies warns that transfer books will be sent up on Tuesday December 25 and a quarterly general court will be held at their Leadenhall Street house on Wednesday 21/8 at eleven in the forenoon. Transfer books will reopen on Tuesday January 178 next and Christmas dividend warrants will be ready for delivery on Friday January 27.
