Governor Returns From Georgia Voyage To Amity With Indians

Last Tuesday the Governor and members of the Council along with a committee returned to Boston after a 19 day voyage aboard the Vernon aided by the Province Snow and Province Sloop. They met several Indian chiefs who expressed friendship with Great Britain and conveyed wishes for the British Nation's happiness and welfare.

King's Birthday Celebrations In London With Ode

London marked the King's birthday with noon compliments from nobles and ministers. Guns fired in the Park and Tower, bonfires and illuminations lit the city, and an Ode by Colley Cibber set to Maurice Green’s music was performed in the Great Council Chamber before the King and key figures.
