Minister Ragusinski plans Selginski town project in Siberia

Moscow reports Aunt Sawa-Vladislaus Ragusinski has finished negotiations and departs for Russia. He presents a memorial and a plan for Selginski on the Selenga river with a new town on higher ground, plus a transport route via Tobolski Irtys and the Angara. The project aims to shift commerce from old Selginski as near China boosts traffic.

A 1728 notice by Anne Turbet promotes John Moore worm medicines and lists multiple shops selling the remedies with cautions on counterfeit seals. The column also advertises June 13 thorough races at Stratham Wells, June 16 races for women, June 15 buckskin breeches, and various lettings and sales near Northaw, Harrow on the Hill, Peckham, Woodford Bridge, and Jockeys Fields, including auctions of household goods from Sidney Wortley Montague’s estate.
