London reports that twelve ships of the line will rendezvous at Spithead in a few days under Sir John Norris, with two 90 gun ships, three 80s, four 66s, and three 50s. The Gibraltar, a 20 gun ship, is ordered broken up as unfit for service. Obituaries note the deaths of wine merchant Renner and confectioner Titchborne in London and Southwark. Financial items show South Sea stock and annuities prices, and notices from the South Sea Company about transfer books and dividends.
