Mail from France details and European commands in 18thcentury notes

Public notice on bills stolen with Western Mail

General Post Office London May 12 1739 informs public that bills and notes taken from the Western Mail are now with a justice of the peace who committed the thief to Exeter Gaol. London City Lands Letting Notice for 58 to 61 Year Leases

The HE Committee of the City of London gives notice they will accept proposals on May 16 at the Guildhall for leases of several properties. Lots include Messuages in Church Court Duke's Place occupied by named tenants for 58 years and another at Aldermanbury Pottern Fore Street occupied by Andrew Hollyburton and others for 61 years, plus a ground parcel by the Oxford Road bridge for seven and a half years. Proposals available at the Comptroller's Office.
