A mob angry over the discovery of bodies saifed attacked and burned the house of Patrick Richardson, a gardener, at Marleburgh, and threatened others though no further damage occurred.

Bristol Affizes Pass Sentence on City Criminals in March
In Bristol yesterday the Affizes ended. Serjeant Foster sentenced several criminals. Robert Ruffel and John Nath, both youths, one about fifteen, for stealing 26 stamps and items from John Peach’s shop. Hugh MacDaniel for stealing two cheque pieces from Mrs. Sullock. William Curtis for returning from transportation. Frances Griffith for stealing silver and a bow from Mr. Rofe’s house. Robert Harper and Peter Mullins received twelve months for assaulting constables. Lat Friday James Roots and William Farrier were taken to Newgate for assault in King Road and firing into a boat. injuries to Jenkin Thomas and George Clark.
