Notable Citizen Walter Nourse Passes at 88

In this county Walter Nourse Ely died at the 88th year of his age. A Gentleman of temperate piety domestic and public from youth, he avoided scandal, showed loyalty to the Prince, and was active in public life and steady in business. Renowned for charity to the poor and edifying discourse, he was a pattern to town and country. His memory is blessed and his name shall be spoken with honour.
