Foreign Officer Seized in Castle District Case

A French officer was captured on Cagk Street and escorted to the Castle after interrogation. His servant was sent to Newgate. A proclamation offered rewards for capturing subjects pressed for foreign service, with 3000 pounds for the first, 1000 pounds for each of the next four, and 100 pounds for every other person.
